Schweinshaxe Roasted Pork Knuckle

When I lived in Freiberg, Germany (in the Sachsen State) there was a nice restaurant that had Haxentag every Thursday.

When I lived in Dresden and commuted to Freiberg, on the way home I would pick up several small Haxe to eat for dinner with the family.  Very hard to beat!

Now that I'm back State-side I order Haxe off the web either precooked or raw and have it delivered to our house.

This is a nice recipe for cooking the Haxe.

I don't have any comments regarding cooking it.  I found some canned German Potato Salad to have with it.  Worked out great!
